Belt conveyor for fertilizer production
Belt conveyor is a common equipment used for continuous conveying of goods. There are two types of belt conveyors, fixed and mobile, which are mainly used for loading, unloading, handling and conveying goods or materials. It is the most basic equipment in the manufacturing process of organic fertilizer, which can connect various machines and transport materials. Belt conveyor deviation is one of the common faults in the operation of belt conveyor. There are many reasons for this, including structural design, installation and commissioning. When solving the deviation problem, it needs to be handled flexibly according to the situation.
Harm of belt conveyor deviation
The deviation of belt conveyor means that the conveyor belt deviates from the normal center position to one side of the transmission drum. In this case, if not corrected in time, the edge of the conveyor belt and the frame will rub against each other, and the conveyor belt will wear or even tear over time. In case of serious, the production of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer will stop working, affecting the production efficiency.
Causes of belt conveyor deviation
The reason for belt conveyor deviation is that the forces on both sides of the conveyor belt are unbalanced. If the tension at both ends of the belt is in a balanced state, it is not easy for the newly installed and debugged belt conveyor or the worn old belt conveyor to deviate.
There is a reversing roller at the head and tail of the belt conveyor, which is installed at the head and tail respectively. The head roller is installed and positioned, the central axis is perpendicular to the frame, and the tail roller is equipped with a lead screw as a tensioning device. The perpendicularity between the idler and the frame can be adjusted by adjusting the nut position on the lead screw until the final belt conveyor operates normally.
